Solo Exhibition "Wan Wan Carnival" — Thank you for visiting

As a special project celebrating the 11th anniversary of ANNA RED's artistic activity, I held the exhibition Wan Wan Carnival - A Painting Show with Dogs.

Taking inspiration from "11" sounding like wan wan, the Japanese onomatopoeia for a dog's bark, the exhibition brought together only works featuring dogs. Many dog lovers and even dogs themselves came to visit.

The sight of dogs eagerly running up in a line just after opening felt like everyday fantasy itself.

Every original painting on display was new. Visitors were able to enjoy scenes of daily life shared by dogs and people, along with the uniquely ANNA RED blend of ordinary life and fantasy.

The venue, soko station 146 in Shin-Kiba, is an open cafe space with an attached gallery, a place where art can be enjoyed alongside delicious food and drinks.

It is also a cherished venue for me, where I held my 10th anniversary solo exhibition Fantasy10, so I was very happy to present work there again.

On November 15, we also held a reception party. With a talk session and a DJ performance, it became a lively and creative time in which visitors shared the same space and moment with the artworks.

As an exhibition where people could enjoy art together with their dogs, it became a true "carnival" in which people, dogs, and artworks naturally came together.

Thank you very much to everyone who visited, and to all the lovely dogs as well.
