Still Developing

An old film camera, long-cherished and long-used, beautiful simply in how it stands.

Layering discarded black leather like a film negative, I was conscious of a sense of something glimpsed through — and a slightly unfinished impression.

The film camera, and the leather used in this work, both still have more time ahead of them. Not finished, but still in the midst of accumulating time.
